The Azerbaijani government is preparing for indexation of the deposits from 2006, Trend reports.
At present the government is according the parameters of indexation, defining the optimal variants for its implementation, while for the time being it is expected do direct 200bn manats in budget assignments only in 2006.
The community deposits kept at the Savings Bank of the USSR, placed by 1 January 1992. First of all old people, disabled, and members of shehid families can count on receiving their �old’ savings.
Earlier the Ministry of Finances announced on the development of 3 indexation plans requiring $0.3-0.4bn and $0.5-0.55bn and $0.8-1bn respectively.
