Today Astana is hosting annual conference "Kazneftegazservice-2013" and Forum of Oil And Gas Companies "Oil and Gas: Kazakh Content 2013".
The Union of Kazakh Service Companies and the Contract Agency branch of the Information Analytical Centre for Oil and Gas with the official support of Kazakh Ministry of Oil and Gas organized the event.
The participants are discussing the development of local content, participation in tenders and reviewing promising oil and gas projects. Special attention is paid to the launch of the project for future expansion of Tengizchevroil LLP, the second phase of the Kashagan field, and some other projects.
During the exhibition, oil and gas companies will present their plans for the procurement of goods, works and services in 2013, including their medium term procurement plan.
The event is attended by Minister of Industry and New Technologies Aset Isekeshev, executive secretary of Kazakh Ministry of Oil and Gas Kanatbek Safin, president of Kazakh Chamber of Commerce Sabr Esimbekov, representatives of Kazakh oil and gas companies of and foreign suppliers, manufacturers of goods, works and services, representatives of Kazakh state bodies, foreign oil companies and foreign associations of service companies.
