Russia will send 50,000 tons of pipes to Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal Information Portal.
Around 3,647 pipes for the implementation of large-scale projects of Turkmengaz have already arrived from Astrakhan to the international sea port of Turkmenbashi. The total weight of the cargo is 2,314 tons.
About 8,186 tons of cargo are in the Astrakhan port, waiting to be loaded.
Turkmengaz state concern is the biggest production and economic complex of Turkmenistan. The principal activity of the concern is development, production of natural gas and gas condensate fields in the territory of Turkmenistan, its preparation and processing, and transportation of natural gas to consumers in the country and for export.
It manages more than 30 large gas condensate fields of Turkmenistan. Concern also started the development of gas-chemical industry of the country to a deep and complex processing of natural gas.
