BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. The sales of Iran’s Arvand Petrochemical Company amounted to more than 1 million tons worth 157 trillion rials (about $3.74 billion) over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Executive Director of the company Mohammad Reza Karimi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

He made the remark at the annual meeting of the company's shareholders on July 3, 2022.

According to Karimi the company’s net income for the last Iranian year was more than 67 trillion rials (about $1.6 billion).

The director added that with the help of local start-up companies, the Arvand Petrochemical Company carried out necessary repairs at its plants. As a result, the company saved 3.7 million euros.

The value of each share of the company was set at 5,500 rials (about $0.13) at the annual meeting.

The Arvand Petrochemical Company is located in the Khuzestan Province (south-western Iran). The company produces Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Vinyl chloride monomer (VCM), ethylene dioxide (EDC) and etc.

The annual production capacity of Arvand Petrochemical Company is 2.8 million tons. Of this, 340,000 tons are accounted for PVC products.
