Volume of foreign investment in Iran's Kermanshah Province announced

About 110 million euro of foreign investment has been made in the Kermanshah Province (western Iran) from March 21, 2013 through August 30, 2020, Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Kermanshah Province Mohsen Darabi told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Darabi, this amount of investment was made by two Chinese investors.

He added that 100 million euro has been invested to Zagros Asian Company in the area of ceramics production and 1,500 people are expected to be employed.

Darabi emphasized that 10 million euro has been invested to the East Asian Ferro-Alloy Company in the field of manganese ferrosilicon production and 110 people are expected to be employed.

The chairman noted that it was planned to develop and improve 16 industrial enterprises with an investment of 36.7 trillion rials (about $873 million), as well as provide employment for 1,420 people over the past seven years.

"The loans worth 7.73 trillion rials (about $184 million) and 160 million euros are planned to issue by the end of the current government (August 2021)," he said.

Darabi said that a number of large plants are expected to be commissioned in Kermanshah Province with an investment of 7.2 trillion rials (about $171 million) by the end of the current government, and 850 people will be employed with the commissioning of these plants. These plants include Bistoon Iron and Steel smelting plant, Iran Khodro Automaker Company’s plant, Zagros Carpet Factory and others.
