The average monthly nominal salary of hired employees in Azerbaijan’s Baku city has decreased from January to June 2021, Trend reports on Aug. 24 with reference to Baku’s Statistics Department.
According to the department, this indicator amounted to 942.3 manat ($554.3), down by 1.8 percent compared to the first half of 2020.
From January to May of this year, this showing amounted to 944.4 manat ($555.5), having decreased by four percent on annual basis.
The nominal salary of hired employees in Baku increased by 6.9 percent in 2020 compared to 2019 and amounted to 927.2 manat ($545.4).
