BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. The total liabilities of Azerbaijan’s Kapital Bank increased by 15.41 percent as of December 31, 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports via the bank's balance sheet.

According to the report, the total liabilities amounted to 6.9 billion manat ($4.06 billion), up by 1.68 billion manat ($988.2 million) over the year.

A significant share (87.17 percent) in the structure of liabilities fell on deposits, which increased by 17.45 percent over the year - up to 6.09 billion manat ($3.58 billion).

At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the structure of the bank's liabilities increased by 10.63 percent on annual basis and equaled 4.45 billion manat ($2.62 billion) or 73.07 percent.

The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of Kapital Bank amounted to 26.93 percent. The deposits of individuals increased over the year by 41.04 percent - up to 1.6 billion manat ($941.1 million).

The bank's liabilities to credit organizations and other financial institutions stood at 552.942 million manat ($325.2 million).

Its liabilities to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) decreased by 33.3 percent and amounted to 1.08 million manat ($635.2 million), and other liabilities – 259.97 million manat ($152.9 million).

The share capital of Kapital Bank amounted to 265.85 million manat ($156.3 million) as of December 31, 202.

The overall reserves of the bank amounted to 42.17 million manat ($24.81 million), up by 9.55 percent on annual basis, while the retained earnings – 517.81 million manat ($304.59 million).

The bank’s total capital in the fourth quarter of 2022 equaled 826.646 million manat ($486.26 million).
