ITU to announce results on fixed stations registration in Azerbaijan

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will announce the results related to the statement of the Azerbaijani side to register fixed stations as of the first quarter, chief engineer of the State Administration of Radio Frequencies of the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry, Ilham Efendiyev, told Trend.
He said that the results on the station registration, which were previously sent to the ITU for registration, will be issued by the Radiocommunication Bureau (BRIFIC).
The text of the GE-06 agreement specifies procedures for modifications and coordination of ground radio broadcasting services. In accordance with regulations of the radio communication, any frequency assignment, which may cause interference to existing or planned stations of other countries, or if it is affected by such stations, one must appeal to the ITU Radio Communication Bureau for registration in the Master International Frequency Register.
