Bakcell, the first mobile operator in Azerbaijan, is pleased to announce that on May 11, Bakcell handed over Porsche Cayenne to Mr. Elkhan Kocharli, the winner of the "Win Porsche Cayenne and 79000 AZN in 70 days" campaign.
During the ceremony held at Porsche Cayenne Baku Center Mr. Richard Shearer, Chief Executive Officer of Bakcell presented a symbolic key to Mr. Kocharli, who is now the owner of the brand new Porsche Cayenne. "Bakcell loves to delight its customers and we organize these kinds of campaigns to allow our subscribers a chance to win great prizes. We are careful to ensure that all lotteries are conducted in a fair and transparent way."
Mr. Kocharli, 28 year old, thanked Bakcell and expressed his happiness for becoming the lucky winner of Porsche Cayenne: "Porsche Cayenne was my dream car. I have been saving money to buy this car and when Bakcell launched SMS Quiz to win Porsche I thought I should try my luck. I was responding to SMS questions and keeping track of my scores. Toward the end of the campaign I was even more nervous. When I was notified of becoming the winner, I was the happiest. It was real."
"Win Porsche Cayenne and 79000 AZN in 70 days" started on 1 February, 2011 and lasted 70 days till 11 April, 2011. To participate in the quiz, subscribers needed to answer short SMS questions sent from short code 333 and win daily and weekly money prizes. 59 participants won 1,000 AZN daily and 10 participants won 2000 AZN every week. The lucky winners were selected based on electronic raffle draw conducted with the participation of the Drawing Committee approved by the State Committee of Securities of the Azerbaijan Republic. Besides daily, weekly money prizes and Porsche Cayenne, the major prize, several special prizes, as laptop, I-phone and money prizes worth 100 AZN were won during 70 days of campaign. All winners were selected by means of electronic raffle draw.
