The Communications and IT Ministry of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) received revenue in the amount of about $ 2.593 million manat in January-June 2011, which exceeds the figure for the same period of 2010 by 188,000 manat.
Some 1,073 new telephone numbers were installed in the NAR in January - June.
The amount of the paid money transfers amounted to more than 3.93 million manat and the sent - more than 2.57 million manat, the ministry said.
The express mail service DHL began to operate in the NAR from May. Some 68 post offices are equipped with computers and establishment of a unified computer network was completed.
