A technopark of software products and information technologies will be created in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.
The government of Uzbekistan has issued a decree "On measures to create a technology park of software products and information technologies". The technopark will be located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent.
The document notes that the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan reached an agreement with the Software Technology Parks of India society on the creation of the technology park.
The technopark will create favorable conditions for the development and production of competitive products and services in the field of information technologies, their promotion in the domestic and foreign markets, and stimulation of innovative development.
The technopark will provide its residents with the necessary infrastructure and modern laboratories for the development of their activities, as well as provide them with financial, marketing, legal, consulting, and business accelerator services.
