The Turkmenaragatnashyk agency, an organization for the development of digital economy in Turkmenistan, will conclude agreements with Huawei and Nokia, Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH).
According to the information, the conclusion of contracts is envisaged as part of the implementation of the "Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025."
Under contract signed with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd (China), equipment, software and licenses will be purchased, as well as transportation, installation, commissioning and technical support for the development of the Altyn Asyr cellular network in Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz regions and in Ashgabat.
Also, under contract signed with Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy (Finland) equipment, software and licenses will be purchased, as well as transportation, installation, commissioning and technical support for the development of Altyn asyr cellular communication network in Lebap and Mary regions.
