BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. Revenues of Azercosmos Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) from the sale of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $5.4 million in the first quarter of 2023, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC) of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The share of services exports in the total revenues of the company last year amounted to 80 percent.
"In March 2022 alone, Azercosmos exported its services to 39 countries for $1.8 million," the CAERC highlighted.
During the reporting period, according to the center, the company exported satellite and telecommunications services to the UK ($1.2 million), Luxembourg ($1 million), France ($805,700), the United Arab Emirates ($446,000) and Germany ($252,500).
Azercosmos OJSC owns two communication satellites - Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2.
By the end of 2022, Azercosmos OJSC's revenues from the sale of satellite and telecommunications services reached $26.6 million.
