Azerbaijan to sign an agreement with Egypt on co-op in post till late 2005

Azerbaijan will sign an agreement with Egypt on cooperation in the post till late 2005. “It will come as the 15th agreement signed by the Azerpocht State Enterprise,” Subkhan Kazimov, the Deputy Director General of the enterprise, told Trend.

The agreement will include issues of the speeded up money transfer between Egypt and Azerbaijan, as well as tariffs on sending and reception of postal packets.

According to Kazimov, similar documents were signed with Iran and Vietnam.

Besides, there are agreements on STEFД° money transfer with 5 counties.

The agreement will be signed within the memorandum on cooperation in the communications, signed by Communications and Information Technologies Ministers Ali Abbasov, of Azerbaijan, and Tarek Kamal, of Egypt, during the Tunisian Stage of the World Summit on the Information Society, which was held in Tunis from 16 to 18 November.
