By Rashid Shirinov – Trend:
On May 1, the Kazakh airline FlyArystan will launch flights between the cities of Almaty and Taraz, Trend reports via Kazakh media.
The cost of a one-way ticket for a one-hour flight starts from 4,999 tenge ($13.09) including airport's passenger fees.
Flights will be carried out every day on Airbus A320, which can carry more than 130,000 passengers in a year in this route.
"We are confident that the Almaty-Taraz-Almaty air traffic will give impetus to the development of the economy of the two southern cities of Kazakhstan," said Zhanar Zhaylauova, Marketing and Sales Director at FlyArystan.
The mayor's office of Taraz, in turn, noted that with the launch of daily flights to the city, the flow of both domestic and foreign tourists will increase.
It should be noted that the budget airline FlyArystan is a division of the national air carrier of Kazakhstan Air Astana. The low-cost airline fleet consists of four Airbus A320-232 aircraft. By 2022, it is planned to increase the fleet to 15 aircraft.
