In the near future, it is planned to reach an agreement with one of the large Turkish cities on the sale of electric buses assembled at Azerbaijan’s Ganja Automobile Plant, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the plant Khanlar Fatiyev told Trend.

Fatiyev said that preliminary negotiations between the city officials and representatives of the plant have been completed.

"Electric buses are very environmentally friendly and beneficial in terms of fuel economy. The electric buses assembled in at the plant in Azerbaijan’s Ganja city each can accommodate 83 passengers, have 26 seats, are equipped with air conditioning, an information monitor, a video control system, and reach speeds of up to 60 km per hour. The batteries charge in six minutes. Since 2019, the assembly of modern design E-321 electric buses has begun in Ganja,” the chairman said.
