A meeting of the World Petroleum Council will be held in Astana on October 1-3, "Kazakhstan today" reported October 1 referring to the Head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov.
He noted that the participation in the meeting of the heads of the delegations of the national committees of the member states elected from among the heads of sectoral ministries, heads of energy companies and large associations has been planned.
"In addition, meetings of the executive and program committees of the World Petroleum Council, as well as events with the participation of young specialists will be held. It has also been planned to hold a special conference entitled as "Investment opportunities: new solutions for sustainable growth" in the framework of the forum. This event is designed to attract the attention of the international community and increase the investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan's oil industry as a whole", Smadiyarov said.
