BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Eurasian Resource Group (ERG) intends to implement a number of projects worth 1.1 trillion Kazakh tenge ($2.43 billion) in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakh media.
According to the information, the first of the projects is the processing of sludge collected at the Don Mining and Processing Plant since 1973, and the second project is a recycling station with a total capacity of 250 MW, capable of ensuring the energy security of the region.
Furthermore, ERG intends to implement the second stage of the "10th Anniversary of Kazakhstan Independence" mine in the amount of 878 billion tenge ($1.94 billion).
The Aktobe region demonstrates stable economic growth. In the real sector, agricultural production increased by 100.9 percent, investment by 111.4 percent, construction by 115 percent, housing commissioning by 101.1 percent, transport and warehousing by 113 percent.
