ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 12. The state budget of Kazakhstan received over 9.2 trillion Kazakh tenge ($20.8 billion) in revenue, surpassing the target by 2.3 percent in the first six months of this year, Erulan Jamaubaev, the country's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, said at a government meeting, Trend reports.
According to him, in particular, the republican budget witnessed an influx of 6.1 trillion Kazakh tenge ($13.8 billion), achieving 94.7 percent of the planned amount, while local budgets were bolstered by 3.1 trillion Kazakh tenge ($7 billion), exceeding the plan by 21.7 percent.
Furthermore, according to the minister, the government has effectively managed budgetary expenditures, with a 99.3 percent execution rate for the overall state budget. Both the republican and local budgets have been executed less than planned, achieving execution rates of 99.4 percent and 99.5 percent respectively.
Overall, the country's economic growth rates stood at 5 percent from January through June 2023, with the mining and manufacturing industries, construction, and the service sector being key contributors to economic growth.
