ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 19. Kazakhstan's passport is ranked 66th among 227 countries and territories, according to the recent rating by the UK-based consulting firm, Henley & Partners, Trend reports.

The passport's power has improved by 4 positions compared to the previous edition of the Henley Passport Index.

Currently, citizens of Kazakhstan can enjoy visa-free travel to 77 destinations.

Within the closest region, all post-Soviet countries have shown significant progress over the past decade. Therefore, the number of visa-free countries for Russian citizens increased from 83 to 115, for Ukraine citizens - from 64 to 146, for Georgian citizens - from 56 to 117, for Kazakhstan's citizens - from 54 to 77, for Belarus citizens - from 56 to 79, for Azerbaijani citizens - from 51 to 69, and for Uzbekistan's citizens - from 47 to 59.

The strongest passport in the world is issued by Singapour with 192 country available for visa-free travel. Following closely are Germany, Italy, and Spain, receiving a score of 190.

On the other hand, the weakest passports belong to holders from Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan.
