BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 21. Köýtendag livestock farm, located in the Lebap district of Turkmenistan, has fulfilled a plan to obtain offspring of small cattle, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
Since the beginning of 2022, the livestock farm has received an offspring of more than 7,300 lambs. In winter, the herd was grazed on the pastures of Leilimekan, Gokliyar, Garagalak. At the same time, spring shearing of sheep will begin in Turkmenistan.
Agriculture is an important part of Turkmenistan's economy. Work is being carried out to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, produce meat and dairy products, strengthen the feed base of the industry, and the improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
