Uzbekistan discloses level of assimilation of investment in fixed capital

The level of assimilation of investments in fixed capital of Uzbekistan amounted to 244.9 trillion soums ($22.5 billion), which is an increase of 16.5 percent compared to 2020 (210.1 trillion soums, or $19.3 billion), Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

Over the past 10 years, the level of assimilation of investments in fixed capital has increased by 12.5 times compared to 2011 (19.5 trillion soums, or $1.7 billion).

In 2021, the assimilation of investments in fixed capital per capita amounted to 7 million soums ($647), which is 14.2 percent more compared to 2020 (6.1 million soums, or $566).

The ratio of investment in fixed capital to GDP was 33.3 percent in 2021.
