BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. Uzbekistan's financial sector index at the Uzbek Republican Stock Exchange reached 977.29 points on May 23, increasing by 23.37 points from May 20, Trend reports via the Exchange.
The figure for the industrial sector has fall, settling at 3,769.75 points – a decrease of 7.86 points compared to the May 20 figure (3,777.61 points).
The figure for the construction sector reached 3,899.57 points on May 23 from 3,945.73 points on May 20.
The trade sector index reached 12,990.4 points on May 23,decreasing by 4.1 points compared to the May 20 figure (12,994.50 points).
Uzbekistan's "Toshkent" republican stock exchange was formed in 1994 to help further expand economic reforms in the country and protect private property and business development.
