TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 9. E20 Investment Limited (well-resourced and strongly supported agribusiness investment company of the UAE) intends to implement new projects in the field of agriculture, fish farming and veterinary medicine in Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
This was stated during a meeting between the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and the Director General of the Abu Dhabi State Organization for Agriculture and Food Security, Chairman of E20 Investment Limited, Saeed Al Alameri.
The Emirati side highly appreciated the transformations carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years and thanked for the support provided in the implementation of a joint project to create a fruit and berry cluster in the Andijan region.
As noted during the meeting, the company plans to begin work on the implementation of the second phase of the project.
Thus, within the framework of this phase, it is planned to grow 6,000 tons of high-yielding and export-oriented varieties of blueberries and bog bilberries.
As a result of the negotiations, mutual readiness was expressed for the further development of the partnership and the adoption of joint measures to accelerate the implementation and early start of work within the framework of new projects and initiatives.
