Iran Materials 25 July 2011 13:06 (UTC +04:00)

The third Egyptian delegation plans to visit Tehran on Wednesday, ISNA reported.

The North African country's trade and religious delegations have already stepped in Iran and the popular group travels to the country on Wednesday.

The trade board includes 12 businessmen and representatives of large Egyptian tourism companies. The religious board has already arrived in northeastern city of Mashhad and is going to join the trade delegation in Tehran.

Egyptian delegations began to visit Iran since Egyptian January 25 Revolution.

The Islamic Republic of Iran cut diplomatic ties with Egypt in 1979 after Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel and offered asylum to former Iranian Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi after he was deposed.
