U.S. Under Secretary of State William Burns met with Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze during his visit to Georgia.
The sides discussed a wide range of Georgian-U.S relations, the situation in the region and cooperation in international organizations, the Foreign Ministry told Trend.
Burns stressed the U.S.'s firm support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, its democratic development and integration into the Euro-Atlantic space.
Burns also met with Secretary of Security Council Giga Bokeria.
Burns arrived in Georgia on a two-day visit within the South Caucasian tour.
