India's Mumbai Police will file a 5,000-page charge sheet Wednesday against Mohammad Ajmal Amir alias Kasab, the lone surviving attacker in the Mumbai attacks last November, Xinhua reported.

Kasab, a member of the militant Lashkar-e-Taiba group allegedly based in Pakistan, will face charges ranging from waging war against India to murder, attempt to murder and other provisions of the Indian Penal Code, under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, said Indian officials.
"The nearly 5,000-page chargesheet is ready and will be filed before a Metropolitan Magistrate tomorrow," the semi-official Press Trust of India quoted Special Public Prosecutor Ujwal Nikam as saying.

Indian authorities will also charge nine other Lashker terror suspects and will name around 20 other people as "wanted accused" including Yosuf Muzzamil and Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi, blamed for masterminding the Mumbai attacks, said Indian officials.
The charge sheet draws to a conclusion of police investigation into the terror attacks. The United States FBI also provided inputs into the charge sheet with evidence provided to Mumbai police, according to Indian officials.

At least 173 people were killed and over 300 wounded in the attacks upon Mumbai from Nov. 26 to 29 by 10 attackers who landed in India by sea route from Pakistan.
