Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday again evaded directly answering the question of whether he would run for a second term, but indicated it was possible he would still be president after 2012, RIA Novosti reported.
"If you are putting the question in this vein - whether one can hope - the answer is, yes, absolutely," Medvedev said in response to a question from an Austrian reporter as to whether there was any chance he would remain the counterpart of the Austrian president after the expiration of his first term.
