Cargo transshipment from Israel via Turkish ports revealed

In August 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from the Israel through Turkish ports amounted to 9.401 million tons, Trend reports referring to Turkey's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

The volume of cargo transshipment from the Israel by ships flying the Israeli flag amounted to 152,122 tons, while the Israeli vessels flying flags of other countries carried 8.073 million tons of cargo.

During the reported period, cargo transshipment from Israel by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 1.175 million tons.

In August 2019, 4,601 ships arrived in Turkish ports, the gross registered tonnage of which amounted to 58.316 million million tons.

During the reported month, 1,978 ships flying the Turkish flag and 2,623 ships flying flags of other countries arrived in Turkish ports.

The gross registered tonnage of ships arrived at Turkish ports under the Turkish flag in August 2019 amounted to 9.63 million tons, and of ships under flags of other countries to 48.685 million tons.

In January-August 2019, Turkish ports received 35,716 ships, the gross registered tonnage of which amounted to 516.701 million tons.

The gross registered tonnage of vessels arrived at Turkish ports under the Turkish flag amounted to 76.956 million tons, while the gross registered tonnage of vessels under flags of other countries amounted to 439.744 million tons in January-August 2019.
