Turkey's trade with Azerbaijan from January through September 2020 increased by $114.328 million compared to the same period last year, exceeding $1.545 billion, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
"Turkey's exports to Azerbaijan for 9M2020 amounted to $1.308 billion, and imports from Azerbaijan amounted to $237.192 million," the ministry said.
The trade between Turkey and Azerbaijan in September 2020 increased by $64.109 million compared to the same period last year, amounting to $245.088 million.
"The volume of Turkey's exports to Azerbaijan in September 2020 amounted to $217.163 million, and imports from Azerbaijan amounted to $27.925 million," the ministry said.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover in September 2020 amounted to $37.737 billion.
The volume of Turkey's exports during this period increased by 4.8 percent compared to September 2019, amounting to $16.9 billion, while Turkey's imports in September 2020 increased by 23 percent compared to September 2019 and amounted to $20.837 billion.
Turkey's trade for 9M2020 amounted to $274.511 billion.
Exports from Turkey in January through September 2020 decreased by 10.9 percent compared to the same period in 2019, amounting to $118.325 billion, while Turkey's imports for the reported increased by 1.5 percent compared to the same period in 2019, amounting to $156.186 billion.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover in 2019 amounted to $374.236 billion.
