BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. Türkiye's exports of cement products to Georgia increased by 6.8 percent year-on-year to $17 million from January through March 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $7.6 million worth of cement products to Georgia in March this year, which is 4.4 percent more than in March last year," the statement from the ministry says.
However, Türkiye's exports of cement products to global markets from January through March 2024 decreased by 7.4 percent to $1.1 billion compared to the same month in 2023.
Meanwhile, Türkiye exported $390 million worth of cement products in March this year, down 11.1 percent year-on-year.
To note, Türkiye exported cement products worth $4.5 billion in the last 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024).
