Russian Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev will visit Tehran November 29-30, the ministry was quoted by RIA Novosti as saying.
He will meet with his Iranian counterpart and discuss the cooperation prospects between the two countries with the businessmen.
"Ulyukayev is expected to meet with Iran's Minister of Industry, Trade and Mines Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayyebnia," a statement says. "The participants will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation."
Moreover, a business breakfast on behalf of Ulyukayev is planned to be held as part of the visit.
Russian and Iranian businessmen will discuss the current situation and further cooperation prospects, in particular, the issues which hamper strengthening the economic relations between the two countries.
"It is necessary to reveal the current difficulties and barriers," a statement says. "By eliminating them, we will be able to increase the bilateral trade volume and diversify the Russian-Iranian cooperation, including investment cooperation."
