A meeting of the U.S. ambassadors to the region will be held in Tbilisi, the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan, Matthew Bryza, who arrived in Tbilisi, told journalists on Wednesday.
He said that the U.S. ambassadors to Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia will exchange views on the region's situation. "We intend to discuss all aspects of the embassies' activity in the region," he said.
Bryza said that the ambassadors will discuss coordination of their efforts to ensure regional security, development of economic ties and other issues in Tbilisi.
Such meetings are traditional in character.
Earlier, Bryza served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and supervised the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
