Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, who is on a working visit to Great Britain, met with the Azerbaijani-British parliamentary group members, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting Mammadyarov informed the group members about Azerbaijan's geo-strategic importance for Europe.
Mammadyarov told British parliamentarians about Azerbaijan's energy policy, the country's role in ensuring energy security of Europe, as well as on projects implemented in the region with the participation of the country.
He also informed the parliamentarians about the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the ongoing peace negotiations to resolve it, and answered questions of the meeting participants.
