An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Bejaia, Algeria at 21:00 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The epicenter, with a depth of 14.60 km, was initially determined to be at 36.716 degrees north latitude and 5.248 degrees east longitude.
