Roman Karakhanov, an ethnic Azerbaijani, who was injured in the Minsk terrorist attack, is in stable condition, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry employee Elman Abdullayev told Trend today.
He will soon be discharged from the hospital, he said quoting the Azerbaijani Embassy in Minsk.

The embassy's staff visited Karahanov in the hospital today.

Karakhanov was injured in the , Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov told Trend earlier, quoting Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belarus Ali Nagiyev.

"The health of the 21-year-old Russian citizen is stable. The embassy's employees have already visited him. Doctors say he will be discharged tomorrow," Polukhov said.
A strong blast occurred as a train approached the Oktyabrskaya metro station in Minsk on Monday. The attack killed 12 people and injured 157.
