The Spanish Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences (Real Academia de Ciencias y Financieras) has published a book in Spanish titled "New market opportunities for economic recovery - Azerbaijan" in June.
This research work is the result of close cooperation of the Azerbaijani economists, led by Professor Qorkmaz Imanov, with researchers of the Royal Academy, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend. In February 2011, Imanov was awarded with a gold medal of the Spanish Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences.
There are statistical indices and links to local and international sources in the book. The modern methods of forecasting and modeling are used.
Azerbaijan is described as an important partner for Spain, having great potential for development and growing prestige in the international economic relations.
