TurkPA to participate in OIC meeting

A delegation led by TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov will attend the seventh meeting of the council of the OIC Parliamentary Union to be held in Palembang on Jan. 2-Feb. 2, TurkPA reported today.
During his visit, he will hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of several countries and international organizations. Hasanov also plans to deliver a speech at the meeting.
TurkPA was established in Baku in 2009. The secretariat is located in Baku. It includes the secretary general and his two deputies from Turkey and Kazakhstan, as well as the expert group. The members of the organization are Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
TurkPA's main purpose is to strengthen the ties between the Turkic-speaking countries, to bring national legislations into line with international standards.
