Azerbaijan National Independence Party (ANIP) postponed its next congress to be held on May 21, 2006. Ayaz Rustamov, the Interim Chairman of ANIP, told IAA Trend.
Mr. Rustamov connected it with the delayed response to partys appeal forwarded to the Executive Power of Baku City for selection of the congress place. According to Rustamov, ANIP appealed to the Baku mayor for conducting the congress in Eliza hall of Baku Entertainment Center.
Besides, Mr. Rustamov stressed that the date of the party`s next congress will be defined on 22 May. We try to conduct our congress till the end of this month or up to June 5. We are going to conduct the next congress in a grandiose place. After the definition of the next congress date, we will appeal to a special address. We may hold our next congress at the hotel Europe, Mr. Rustamov added.
