New expert group for South Caucasus cultural heritage study established by PACE general secretary offer

The new expert group for South Caucasus cultural heritage study was established by PACE general secretary Terry Davis offer, Trend reports quoting MP Rafael Huseynov, member of Azerbaijans delegation to PACE.

Huseynov said in this respect PACE secretary general addressed ministries of culture and tourism and foreign affairs of Azerbaijan. В"It was decided that in autumn this group visits the region and launch studiesВ", he said, underlining the group setup importance.

Huseynov also said British MР  Edward OHara, head of cultural heritage mission, is still to make his visit to the region..

During 17-18 May session of PACE committee for science and education Mr OHaras visit to Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan, Georgia and Armenia was scheduled to May 28 but later postponed for some reason.

Huseynov said PACE auxiliary committee for cultural heritage is gathering in September. В"It shall discuss OHaras visit to the regionВ", he said.
