BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 17. The average monthly nominal salary of employees in Azerbaijan increased by 14.3 percent from January through September 2022 compared to the same period the previous year and amounted to 829 manat ($487), Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
The income of the Azerbaijani population increased by 20.2 percent up to 51 billion manat ($30 billion).
According to the committee, the highest salaries are recorded among workers in the mining sector, in insurance and finance fields, in information and communications fields, as well as in scientific and technical activities.
