A groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the construction of 10,000 apartments in the Bandar Abbas County of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) tomorrow Apr. 28, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran Mehdi Oburi said, Trend reports citing the ministry.
According to him, more than 70 trillion rials (about $1.67 billion) will be spent on the construction of these apartments.
The deputy minister added that the apartments are designed in 605 blocks. Apartments to be built on 350 hectares will cover about 30 percent of the total area, and the remaining 250 hectares will remain a public facility.
Oburi noted that the size of each apartment is 100-150 square meters, and the construction of these apartments will be completed within 48 months.
