Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 February / Trend / In 2007, Azerbaijan's import from CIS countries comprised $1.9bln (33.31% of country's overall import), the State Customs Committee reported.
Azerbaijan imported from CIS countries mineral fuel, grain-crops, equipment, mechanical plants, and ferrous metallurgy products.
Azerbaijan's export to CIS totalled $1.1bln (18.20% of overall export).
The goods exported to CIS were sugar, sugar confectionery, oil products, chemical substances, butter and vegetable oil, cotton, vegetables and fruits.
The import-export operation resulted in a red ink of $798.8mln.
