Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the introduction of the Law on 2010 budget of the State Social Protection Fund, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The State Social Protection Fund is in charge of taking necessary measures for the execution of revenue and expenditure of Fund's 2010 budget and informing the President of Azerbaijan and the Cabinet of Ministers twice a year.
The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan is in charge of approving quarterly and monthly distribution of transfers envisaged for the Fund in 2010, agreeing it with the State Social Protection Fund.
According to the law, the income and expenditure of 2010 budget of the State Social Protection Fund were adopted at the level of 1 757.216 million manat.
The law shall take effect from 1 January 2010.
