The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) together with the international payment system MasterCard held a workshop in Baku on the theme "Development of the card business", CBA said.
Representatives of the CBA, MasterCard, and banks operating in the country attended the workshop. Participants were informed about new technologies in the field of payment cards, lines of successful marketing activities on the payment card market and expansion of relationships with business entities.
The discussions also touched on the introduction of card products in retail trade, acceleration of the implementation process and issues of international experience in this field.
