The Senate of the Oliy Majlis (the upper house of the Uzbek parliament) approved a program of creating jobs and providing with employment for 2012.
The program, developed by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic, includes creating 967,500 jobs in 2012, mostly in rural areas by implementing the programs of the socio-economic and industrial development and regional investment programs.
