Kazakhstan increased gross of agriculture products and services output to 2.136 trillion tenge (up by 27.3 percent), Kazakh Prime Minister's press-service reported referring to the Ministry of Agriculture.
The increased was recorded in January - November, 2011 compared to the same period of 2010.
"Kazakhstan harvested 29.7 million tons of grain in bunker weight from the 16.1 million hectares. Crop capacity was two times higher compared to 2011," the statement said.
Moreover, Kazakhstan in this period harvested 25.1 million tons of wheat from an area of 13.8 million hectares, 2.7 million tons of barley from an area of 1.5 million hectares, 435,000 tons of rice and 479,000 tons of maize.
