Azerbaijan is actively developing relations not only with the Russian Federation as a whole, but also with its subjects on a separate basis, deputy Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Niyazi Safarov said during the Azerbaijan and Chechnya Business Forum held in Baku on Wednesday.
"The high level state of political relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, mutual visits of heads of state and frequent high-level meetings give a strong impetus to the development of bilateral economic and trade relations," Safarov said.
He added there is a good legal framework for the development of economic relations.
"Azerbaijan is becoming an investment exporter country and because of it the interest of the Russian Federation and its regions in our country is growing," Safarov said.
