The construction of Tajikistan's section of Tajikistan-Afghanistan- Turkmenistan railway will be financed with foreign borrowings, Avesta.tj reported on Thursday.
The project was added to the State Program on foreign borrowings for 2014-2016.
According to a source in the country's Finance Ministry, the program provides a phased attraction of grants and credits for the implementation of the project.
First of all, the project's feasibility study will be developed with the usage of these grants.
Next stages will include construction of the railway.
