Azerbaijan's Ganja Automobile Plant and Russia's Kamaz Automobile Plant (KAMAZ) signed an official distribution agreement for the assembly and sale of KAMAZ vehicles in Azerbaijan and other countries.

The assembly of the first KAMAZ vehicle in Azerbaijan will take place in late February or early March 2015, the Ganja Automobile Plant told Trend Feb. 9.

A full assembly and adjustment of KAMAZ vehicles will be carried out in the country.

KAMAZ produces a wide range of vehicles, such as trucks (over 40 models, more than 1,500 kits, and vehicles with right steering wheel), trailers, buses, tractors, engines, power units and various tools.

The Ganja Automobile Plant began its work in December 2004. In the early days of its operation, the plant had 85 employees, but now it employs 700 people.

Aside from tractors and vehicles, the Ganja Automobile Plant launched the production of various equipments for 'Belarus' tractors.
